Drew, but he was once his golden boy already so not quite the same. Perhaps KO, but that took forever. It seemed like Finn at one point but then we got all that "he's not over enough" talk. The list of guys who were huge deals in NXT only to be mismanaged on the main roster, however, is endless.

When I think of the big pushes in the last few years of "new" guys, a lot of them are guys (Bobby, Braun) who bypassed NXT all together

Riddle has already been pushed better on main then he was on NXT.

There's a laundry list of people who spent time at NXT and got significant pushes on the main roster - from The Shield, The Horsewomen, KO, Sami, Drew, Bianca, Nak, Finn, Neville, Asuka, etc

The negative optics come from Vince having no issue immediately throwing them in the mud and/or putting them through long stretches of irrelevancy, but that's anyone in the company who's full-time.
