I think RJ is a solid defender. He’s not as good as Grimes obviously but his offense has been good enough to warrant the small drop off you’ll get on defense. You still shift the rotation so that RJ and Grant get a majority of their run with the second unit as the 3 and the 4. And when they’re in the starting lineup, you probably give Grant the lead defensive assignments. Or you just bench Grant in games you need Grimes to chase around one of the elite guards.
