I'm not muslim but you would never in a million years, say that in the presence of a muslim

I'm going to play devil's advocate what's the difference between having a temple constructed from wood and stone and having Christian or Muslim iconography inside that temple made from man hands versus having a portable representation of your god/goddesses like this small tribe? What's the difference between that block of wood shaped like an African god versus one shaped into a cross or prayer beads or even calligraphy with your god's name edge into it?Based on the ancient scriptures Jesus was darker(bronze skin) than Mohammed, so it's not a "white man's religion"
Furthermore, if you can construct your own God from minerals, wood, and stone, then he really isn't God.
God constructs you, not the other way around.
That's all I'll say on this subject.
I did a quick google search and found this lady named Sallie Ann Glassman who practices voodoo. @DON MA MA are there non-black people who practice african traditional religion?

So that's the outliner? So you can be a Muslim or Christian and have religious items and structures made of wood and stone to help facilitate worship but you just can't worship the item it self ok I gotcha bruh. I grew up seeing Christians fall out at the altar made of wood and would have a wooden cross on it. And I have seen pictures of Muslims bowing down to the Kaaba stone. To me, it's not much of a damn difference. The object crafted from stone, wood, metal, etc is used to facilitate worship.1. Nobody is worshiping the temple itself, it's just structure for corporate worship
Do not construct anything in heaven? You talking about Exodus 20:4? Didn't the Ark of the Covenant have two cherubims facing one another on it? And wasn't that ark used as a religious item for the Israelites to commune with God? That's like 5 chapters later can you explain to me why the ark had cherubims on it after that verse.2. Scripture says not to construct anything in Gods image or anything in Heaven, nor to worship anything on Earth or In Heaven that is not God.
