Just caught up with the season the last couple of days. Mid-season finale had me like
Michael Hirst sure does like leaning into the time skipping, visions, surreal moments doing big battles
. I think he did something similar in one of the big battles from last year. I don't think Bjorn is going out like that, I guess we have to wait to see exactly what happened.
I will say I have enjoyed this season more than the last one, perhaps the extended break from watching helped.
There are still some iffy/confusing character choices/motivations that crop up, but I have to give the show credit whenever there is a ritual that needs to be performed they nail it
