Vikings - Season 6 (Will Be Final Season/But Spinoff Vikings Series in Works)

As the hit drama is wrapping, History, Vikings creator Michael Hirst and studio MGM Television, are looking to extend the Vikings franchise with a new series. I’ve learned that the network is in talks with MGM and Hirst about a new series from the same creative team as the original series, which would continue the Vikings saga. If the offshoot project, which is in early stages, moves forward, Hirst will be joined by feature writer Jeb Stuart (Die Hard, The Fugitive).

I think it's a good move. Any longer and it would've been going on just to go on. Hopefully they can get leads that can carry the spinoff.

They need to do a ragnar prequel or something. Show him and his brother and flocked come up. Rangnar dying really killed the show for me, but I still watch.
Maybe a Rollo focused show. Get to see whats goin on in France.

I'm still baffled how they condensed the Great Heathen Army fukkery to only a few episodes
That initial invasion to avenge Ragner should have been a whole season by itself
What the history channel should do is give us a proper series on the Huns or at least the Vandals when they were smacking Rome around, instead of a Vikings spinoff

Yeah show lost it's touch after he died but part of me is happy that he's feasting & drinking up in Vahalla, much deserved

Yup. I'm at season 5 ep 2, I don't think I'm going to make it through this whole season. After dude killed his own brother with the axe and every one shakes it off like it's nothing. Lagertha imprisoning but not killing the self proclaimed "King of all Norway" after he ordered that invasion ...show is really shaky so far this season.Good, season 5 has been pure trash and they've basically ruined every character in the show
Does anyone know why Helga's "adopted" daughter kills Helga and then kills her self? Maybe I missed something but what was that about?
