I know it's a cliche, but that's why we need our own media. It's sad that we are even surprised that vast continent like Africa isn't all jungles and mud huts. They obviously don't want us to connect to Africa, meanwhile cacs and chinese are moving their in droves. They don't even want us to move back home despite making us feel unwanted in the countries we live in. If there was another Garvey who created another modern Back to Africa movement, the CIA, FBI would try to sabotage him.

If we had real knowledge of our motherland and had a united worldwide structure, I reckon most of us would get the hell out of dodge and control our own resources and they know this. I LOVED Gambia when I was there.

I've been to the Ivory Coast. Outside of Abidjan, and to a much lesser extent, Yamoussoukro, the rest of that country was much like people think of Africa.

I want to go to Ghana, which I thought would be a good place cuz of the language, but now it's looking like I need to go to Senegal.
