Videogames that could make decent Films/Tv shows

I've always wanted to see videogames transition onto the big screen or on tv. Even though hollywood doesn't have a great track record with them it only takes one success to get people to jump on boad and then we could see a renaissance of video game ips turned into film media. Just like with all the comic book movies coming out now.

What games would work best?

I Would Say GTA but make it a netflix exclusive series.

• Season 1 set in liberty city
• Season 2 in vice city
• Season 3 in San Andreas

Have new protagonist every season slight references and/or cameos from the last to have it seem like its set in the same world.

Devil May Cry could be a dope popcorn action flick.

I think movies after video games are a bad idea. Fans always want a movie after a VG they like but after they make the movie they start to bytch that it sucks. Idk any great movies that were made after videogames

It doesn't hurt to try just because there isn't any good ones now doesn't mean its not possible. Plus I've seen comic book fans bytch about the good movies and they still watch them anyway. All you need is a franchise that can appeal to the casuals while having a competent script and stay true to the source material. The die-hards will watch regardless
