It was pretty well known, I am not sure why yall surprised. Both of these were terrible, especially karl malone jokes where they really made him look as dumb as possible.
Then they hired that c00n aries spears so he could impersonate famous black folks and make lame ass jokes for white people, so they could feel safe in case someone brought these jokes up in the future

I think the big thing here is looking at intent.
I understand in the old days blackface was used to mimic the black race. So being aware of that one knows not to open those wounds.
However if someone admires a person and wants to dress as them for halloween or a comic con how is it racist. If I got a deep tan to dress as Drogo from game of thrones does that make me a racist?
If you are doing an impression of a known person for comedy sake you aren't mimicking their race your just trying to make your portrayal accurate.
Can we do a better job of parsing every one into they are racist?
I'm not a fan of the two comics but I highly doubt there was any racist intent and I'm sure Rock and Barkley don't feel that way either.

I dont watch none of them racist ass shows, lol at every show. The cheap production & corny cac humor jokes made me think it was madtv.So you've seen every skit from the MadTv, but you didn't recognize the OP was from a different show
forget the brown makeup, why did kimmel's impression of the mailman have him sounding like a slave? he has an accent but he doesn't speak broken english like that. very offensive

This why even tho i dont agree with kanye, it looks funny when Kimmel had him on the show and wags his righteous finger at him for his politics, when kimmel himself made money off clowning black people or doing creepy sex joke shyt on tv.
DL gets crucified for some gay jokes but these late night dudes get passes and protection. The games rigged.
