The incident happened at 275 Bergen Street. The woman, identified by police at 23-year-old Jazmine Headley, sat on the floor because there weren't any seats left, according to Monae Sinclair, the person who shared the video online. Then a security guard came over.

"She Made The Security Guard Feel Dumb So She Called The Cops On Her & This Was The Outcome," Sinclair wrote on Facebook.

Headley was charged with resisting arrest, acting in a manner injurious to a child, obstructing governmental administration and criminal trespass.

She allegedly refused to leave despite requests from Human Resources Administration peace officers, police said. Headley "was then informed by police numerous times to leave the location, and she refused."

The woman refused medical attention for herself and her baby boy, officials said. Jacqueline Jenkins, Headley's mother and a security officer herself, took custody of the boy and the Administration of Children's Services was notified.

"It was unnecessary to use that much force on my daughter," Jenkins said. "Talk to her as much as you can, but you didn't have to put your hands on her."

I understand she was probably aggravated from being in that crowded place dealing the bullshyt that comes with the welfair office. There are rules and she should've just followed them because the cops have no problem violating. Its fukked up seeing a baby handled like that , shyt shouldnt have went that far

I been in those NYC public assistance offices as a kid, terrible place. Very boring, making you wait HOURS before somebody sees you, miserable people, etc. Whenever I went to public assistance office it inspired me to go read a book so I wouldn't end up in that situation as an adult.

How did she put herself in a dangerous situation? She came there, they didn't have seats, they got mad when she found a place to sit? There's a reason ALL charges are being dropped, the whole getting security and getting cops was absolutely BS.

Neither the moms or the police acted in the best interests of the baby; the fault lies with the latter, but as a parent, I don't know how you'd allow it to escalate to the point where your child's life is at risk, even if you did nothing wrong.
