Alien life form would be extremely intelligent. Their machinery would be capable of doing speeds faster than light. So why would they just walk around a society that isn't theirs without weapons or some kind of suit. I'd imagine they have watched us, or studied us at the least... People act like being capable of Intergalactic travel are bumbling idiots like Mr. Bean on a vacation.
Lot of y’all making assumptions that cameras would even be able to capture them. They could easily be capable of making themselves visible enough for people to see but make it to where cameras won’t be able to record them.

They send 10 police cars, 20 officers and 2 k-9 units for the homeless guy loitering in front of 7-11.
They over do it. No surprise people saying the whole police force showed up. Thats how Florida cops operate to the tiniest situation.

But then what would the point of that be? If they want to be perceived, but not by video or photos, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Especially if they're appearing in such a condensed location on one of the biggest days of the year. I'm sure the technology exists and wouldn't be tough for a hypothetical alien being to achieve. But in this instance, it just doesn't line up when the only image in question we have is from a video filmed at night from a far distance. We're also hearing about this days later, why? I'm seeing tweets mentioning that things were cut off around the area like power, but none of this has been verified. On top of that, we have people trolling and making fake witness reports because of course they will, but seemingly nothing on the night in question -- just days later, when we're all seeing this. You'd think if something as crazy as an alien appearance at a mall really happened, we would've heard about it instantly in these times.
They could be interdimensional and not really "here" and that's why pictures can be blurry. But it's also too convenient of an excuse, not to mention, how do we even begin to prove that? And with all of the other things up in the air, it just doesn't seem likely that aliens are at the heart of this. It's fascinating to think about though.
