Jesus changed everything. The new testament is what makes a Christian, and it states not to hate anybody, love thy neighbor, don't do anything u wouldn't want done to yourself, etc. it spreads love, acceptance and is a great moral guide to live by even if u don't believe in it, morals are universal

True Christians don't hate gays, we just don't want them getting married in our church. The bible says it's only a sin being gay if u act on it, and it doesn't say to hate sinners, it says to love and support them like everyone else in the world, to help them, NEVER to hate them.

The beliefs of a "christian" are vast and varied amongst our population. "Christianity" can't even agree on one interpretation of the Sodom and Gomorrah story.

The fact remains that the bible contradicts itself a bazillion times. Maybe, if the "christians" wouldn't rely on a fukking stupid ass old book about morality that is 2000 fukking years old that has been edited and translated thousands of times over then we wouldn't be in this damn predicament.

You still don't understand. No one is promoting a lifestyle. Allowing people to be openly gay is precisely an example of "live and let live." Don't confuse being openly gay with "promoting" anything. If you don't want to see it on tv, change the channel- that's live and let live. If you don't like gay marriage, then don't get one- that's live and let live. If you don't like homos, then don't befriend any.

If you don't like seeing homos at all, then it's on you to change your life so you don't see them, not change their lives so they can't openly express themselves. That's what live and let live means.

When was the last time you saw homos complaining about having to see straight people kissing or holding hands or expressing their feelings or talking about hetero sex in media or on the street?
