Wasn’t the biggest fan of Scream 6 but I can’t say I didn’t have fun while watching it. Looking forward to the next one, and I find it hard to believe Neve won’t be involved in some capacity there.

Hopefully another Scream 3 situation doesn’t happen where Ortega/Barrera are sidetracked with other projects during the time of filming, and I say that because Jenna in particular is on fire right now.

Huge W for Paramount though. The Dungeons and Dragons joint is actually getting good reviews so far too.

Chicago's South Shore
Puss in boots still top 10. And it was robbed of winning best animated. That Pinocchio was light work compared to puss in boots.

65 was boring, champions wasn't too bad
Yea I personally think Pinocchio got that because of who directed it

Lowkey I didn’t even know 65 already came out :mjlol: Thought we had another week or two for Jurassic Park meets Time Cop

Shazam? Failure of the Gawds: Weekend Box Office Results (Mar. 17-19)

Shazam is here and the DC Gods are Furious with the results. A $30.5 million opening is not what they were looking for, especially since this one comes with $125 million production budget. The first Shazam opened to the tune of $53.5 million on an $85 million production budget. :scust: That means that Shazam 2 opened up 43% off of the pace of Shazam 1. Damn. :francis:

The fall off makes sense when you consider the reviews. Shazam had and A cinemascore while the sequel has secured B+. And the sequel is rocking a 53% on Rotten Tomatoes which is a stark drop from Shazam's 90% rating. I guess I'll catch you on HBO Max then.

Like S C R E A IVI, S C R E A IVI fell to second place in it's second weekend. With another $17.5 million added, the 6th installment was off by 60.6% from last weekend. Scream 5 dropped by 59.3% in its second weekend on it way to $12.2 million. That's only a minuscule 2.1% difference. It's up to $76 million domestically and it's already crossed $116 million worldwide. :ehh:

Creed lll continues to hold strong with another $15.3 million. Its $127.6 million running total surpasses Creed ll's $115.7 million. It's the same worldwide with Creed lll at $224.2 million passing Creed ll's $214.2 million. And this was all done in 17 days. :blessed: and shout out to Jonathan Majors in that Army commercial too.

Nah, man, thank you.

Falling 1 spot down to 4th place was 65 with $5.8 million. It's now pulled in $22.4 million despite its 35% rotten score on Rotten Tomatoes. I guess that's 64 audience score is keeping it alive somewhat. It's now made $38.8 million worldwide on a $91 million production budget. :yeshrug:

Ant-Man 3 rounds out the top five with $4 million. The theater count has been reduced 2,650 after 5 weeks. Hey, it finally crossed $200 million domestically. It did that in 26 days. It took Ant-Man 2 36 days to do it. So there's a win, I guess. It's $462.6 million worldwide running total still trails Ant-Man 2's total of $622.6 million. You'll get there Scott. You just need more
