no it's not, thet C&H album was asscheeks despite finally dropping a hot single, VJ album was fire
It was more than just a hit single imo
theyre both good groups.

did they break up simply because Halle is attached to a Disney role or are they really just on opposite ends of the spectrum artistically (Chloe choosing to go the thotty route?)
plus why we comparing Van Jess to CH like they don't have 2 different styles and sounds.
It’s seems like Everyone wants to cash in on Chloe being a star
She definitely has star potential but you don’t want to rush it like Meg and HER where it doesn’t seem organic
But I feel like C&H needed one more album together before she went solo.

huh? HER was baking for years, just cuz she got the accolades before the sales doesn't mean her ascent was rushed. and these girls been given a platform long before they had a hit by virtue of being associated with beyonce, so it's too late to worry about rushed

Their music isn't comparable to CH i don't care who puts them in the list. Its like comparing Kris Kross to Dogg Pound imo.
What I’m saying is the labels use awards and media to try and give artist press. Meg and HER have dominated awards shows the past couple of years
artist Like SZA and Cardi you can clearly see there’s a demand for there music from fans. I don’t get that feeling with Meg and Her, yet they are everywhere
C&H should’ve built on the momentum from their album that finally gain transaction instead just pushing Chloe to be a solo star already

i don't see how forgive me, lonely, catch up, do it are world's apart from come over, caught up, curious...sure, overall VanJess is kinda more neosoul while CH is contemporary, but there's plenty of overlap as well.
Halle was busy doing a movie, the soundtrack and all that comes with that
Believe we'll get at least two more albums from them as a group tho
And when Little mermaid drops that's even more press in addition to everything Chloe has goin on
So their next album should do even bigger numbers with the right singles as they've inched closer to becoming household names
