Vampire in Brooklyn: why is this movie so bad?

Oh for sure even the movies I watch are objectively trash especially viewing through an adult lens 20 yrs later, but it brings me back to childhood horror is my favorite genre, and that’s where it all started.

Horror is my fav genre too and we both know it is not filled with oscar winning movies.

They said this part of the reason I'm desensitized. I was raised on horror, Tales from the Crypt, Outer Limits. Tales from the Dark side. Horror movies. I was always waiting for someone to die.

Kareem as the Ghoul who kept falling apart
How Spoon would ignore Kareem falling apart
The Dr. Z club scene with the tongue
The Murphy guido restaurant scene
The entire Preacher scene

The movie was entertaining especially for a 90's horror/comedy film. Horror movies in the 90's were trash outside the first Candyman movie. Speaking of Candyman, the character was written for Eddie. Vampire Brooklyn was basically Eddie's "my bad" for not taking the Candyman role.

eddie woulda been Terrible is candy man. Dude who played candy is goat
