I rmeember i convinced my friend to buy it cause you could recruit anyone and i was hype off that alone and they bought it and got mad at me it was so trash

yall gotta be cool with not every game (especially jrpg) being AAA. it wasn't like that on PSX and the PS2 its not gonna be that way now. Valkyrie Profile wasn't a high budget game either

That post-game dungeon where you can fight Lenneth and recruit her was dopeness.

One of my favourite games ever.

Imo it should've been on Gamecube. It would've sold dumb there and more than likely they'd still be developing them to this day. Plus it had a novel Nintendo like feel with the kick mechanic.

On ps2 it got lost in the crowd.

It looked better than the ps1 FFs, aside from maybe 9.

And it had better writing and a unique battle system.

I don't require it to be AAA. I just don't want it to look like an afterthought either.
