Just finished watching this, some really impressive CGI and beautiful colors. I liked a lot of the space tech and alien creatures, but the 2 leads were :francis:. The movie would have worked a whole lot better if they had chemistry together and charisma. The whole flirty banter and joking between them fell flat for the most part, and the story would have worked a whole lot better with 2 different people with more charisma in the main roles.

Great example of why you need to cast the right people, not sure what Luc Besson saw in this two in the audition process that made him pick these 2.

Movie fell apart when Laureline turned into a Damsel in Distress. She has a power armor suit just like Valerian and didn't even use one function of her fukking suit.
