If i'm not mistaken, the creative team behind the OG Utopia are working on "Humans". Wish they would just get the band back ( as the casting was expertly done) and go for season 3. Also the music in the OG Utopia was I can't see them topping it.

I really doubt I will enjoy this. The OG was too nice. I fear the american version will tone down on the violence and fail in nailing the atmosphere.
That being said I will try this just because if it is a succes that means more Utopia

The same way I was hoping for John Boyega to crossover mainstream in the US when i saw attack the block in 2011, and the same way i was hoping for Daniel Kaluuya to crossover mainstream in the US when i saw Black Mirror season 1 in 2011, I've been waiting on the homie Nathan Stewart-Jarret to make that leap since seeing Misfits in '10/'11, to complete the cypher lol. Going into Utopia, i was hoping it could be that last stepping stone.

Thinking back, 2011 was the year i discovered British television lmao, watched all of that shyt + Luther + anything else with black british actors. Couldn't understand a damn thing they were saying half the time with those accents tho

Wow, things must of took a turn for the worst. As far as up and coming young black british actors, i felt he had way more exposure than Kaluuya or Boyega coming up b/c of his 2011-2013 work. Even Letitia Wright, who Boyega said was his homie from back in their struggle acting days in Britain, inevitably crossed over with netflix Black Mirror and then Black Panther.

But this dude Nathan ghost. Makes me wonder if they weren't too impressed with his acting

Fincher approved of the scripts though. Thst's enough for me to trust that they're good. Even if he isn't the one ultimately directing this.

Seems they might be done filming it. Looking at the cast on IMDB doesn't fill me with much anticipation but I'll still check it out.
