they fukked up trading for conley especially given all that they gave up to get him (should've kept grayson allen as a shooter). they should've guided him into the PG role where it'd be easier for him to defend and have the ball in his hands learning to make better decisions, PnR, etc. him, gobert, and 3 shooters on the floor.
That excuse doesn't fly considering that other of Mitchell's peers he's lumped in with have managed to improve their defense and playmaking skills even with not being the lead PG. The perfect example of that is Booker who used to stay getting slandered for his defense and playmaking skills, but have made strides in both departments.
