why do people seem to think the postal service is supposed to be profitable? it is a government service, not a business. does the military need to setup an onlyfans?
It’s government imposed monopoly is preventing the public from possibly receiving better more efficient service.:yeshrug:The least it can do is not be a drain.
No need to privatize it really... liftIn its monopoly and allowing other services compete against it is more than enough.

Moreover several more progressive countries have privatized postal service... so the prospect of privatizing it, isn’t this evil idea that needs to be combated.

im fine with the feds letting some states try it. i doubt there will be improvements in service that dont come at some severe cost to worker pay or safety, but if kept in republican areas, i can live with that. :hubie:

We're talking about something constitutional. Ignore that. Ignore the huge burden Bush dropped on them. Your post misses the entire point of what is going on.

He doesn’t miss it. He flatly doesn’t care. Libertarians have child-like mindsets.
:sas1:Before i counter, let me make sure i understand your point.
Because something is in the constitution its untouchable/unchangeable and/or must be maintained at all cost?

Keep in mind no one is calling for its abolishment.

As I said before in a previous thread

There is ZERO reason to engage in any kind of debate or discussion with someone like this
