It’s government imposed monopoly is preventing the public from possibly receiving better more efficient service. The least it can do is not be a drain.why do people seem to think the postal service is supposed to be profitable? it is a government service, not a business. does the military need to setup an onlyfans?
im fine with the feds letting some states try it. i doubt there will be improvements in service that dont come at some severe cost to worker pay or safety, but if kept in republican areas, i can live with that. It’s government imposed monopoly is preventing the public from possibly receiving better more efficient service. The least it can do is not be a drain.
No need to privatize it really... liftIn its monopoly and allowing other services compete against it is more than enough.
Moreover several more progressive countries have privatized postal service... so the prospect of privatizing it, isn’t this evil idea that needs to be combated.

He doesn’t miss it. He flatly doesn’t care. Libertarians have child-like mindsets. We're talking about something constitutional. Ignore that. Ignore the huge burden Bush dropped on them. Your post misses the entire point of what is going on.

Before i counter, let me make sure i understand your point. He doesn’t miss it. He flatly doesn’t care. Libertarians have child-like mindsets.
It was losing money prior to that... and in need of reform. Hence the postal banking push.
I wish the “it was just fine” narrative would stop.
As I said before in a previous threadBefore i counter, let me make sure i understand your point. Because something is in the constitution its untouchable/unchangeable and/or must be maintained at all cost?
Keep in mind no one is calling for its abolishment.
