I watched it and enjoyed it, so fukk what they think. What? They can't relate to a 90% black cast? Well welcome to my life with 99% of entertainment I have to deal with. Funny they how they never mention "race-themed" with Sex in the City or nearly every other movie that comes out with an all white cast.

Am I outraged? Nah. I just find it funny because, bu b bu but we don't make movies with alot of blacks because we won't make any money. They're only 12% of the population so they don't have very much spending power.

Stupid headline and story even if the other movies they spoke of had racial themes.

Funny how back in the 90s, there were black moves on major theaters on the regular. After 2004 or so, they stopped giving a fukk about us and the movies became eve whiter, despite the white population going down % wise.

The Best Man Holiday is not a racially-themed film. Why isn't Thor considered a "race-themed" film then since it is about Norse mythology and the Nordic race? Once again, whiteness renders itself invisible and immune through the discourse of denial :banderas:

But but thats different...

:snoop: at the attitude i got from some folks in this thread. be mad at another black person over something 'white people' did. when i was a kid, we COULDN'T watch these movies in the theatre because the town was that racist and colorless. it's fukked up but things are slowly getting better. cut the crackers some slack lmao. they're still new to this whole equality thing. the got the title right the third time :pachaha:

If people around the world went solely by what movies say, they'd think that New York City was 90% white :mjpls:

White people were right all along. It really is always about race with us. All this time I thought I was engaging in knowledge of self, when I've just been partaking in racially themed shenanigans :ohhh:

so it isn't race themed when they put out those cornball cac chick flicks with julia roberts and shyt?

No because the status quo is never race based.

I'm agreeing with you though just saying the rules are made by white people. Representing themselves is never catering to a race, it's simply "how things are" in their limited as fukk scope. To be fair though the same thing happens along gender lines. All women tend to get is some rich white woman romcoms and find herself* flicks.

*also romcoms since she inevitably ends up with a man anyway :stopitslime:

if they bring up race issues at any point in the movie then yes it is race based.
They don't. It's a movie about Black family and friends getting together to celebrate Christmas. The first one was about Black family and friends planning a wedding. Just shyt that happens all the time. Meet the Fockers is about an all white family that meets their white daughter's new bf they had another one where they met for Christmas or something as well. The movie Marley and Me was about a white family and their fukking dog for pete's sake (who is pete?)
