I know exactly what statistics is all about.
Exactly how accurate is that group of 5000 people? Basically, they used another stat about economic demographics of the US to "create" their pool of 5000.
It's not very accurate at all. Very accurate would be to poll 311,000,000+ citizens. How would you do that? Look at income tax returns. Hmm, what about illegal immigrants who don't file tax returns? Hmm... how many illegal imigrants are there? No one really knows. What kind of income are they making? We have a ball park figure but its useless without an accurate population count. How are their numbers reflected in the pool of 5000 people? We don't know. They are ghosts. The chart is total garbage.
I understand what you are saying..and this is for US legal workers...thats just how the polls are..whenever you see information about voting..I am like I never took the poll but they pull it up from a few thousand people..I doubt it will be that far off though regardless stats have been very accurate when speaking about the population
