Funny. First package ever got lost in the mail by USPS was my grandfather’s necklace that my grandmother sent me after he died. I lived in Buckhead. She sent it to me from Sherman Oaks. That’s California to Atlanta transit, to and from affluent neighborhoods.
:unimpressed:
Sorry, you had a bad experience with USPS but based on the replies here, it's obvious you're an exception breh. I really had no issues with the USPS overall. I'm sure I've had an issue or two in the past but its kind of drowned out by the hundreds of other non-eventful times they delivered my mail.

So Cal
45 already stole it, in addition to bushing majority democratic mail in ballots, in Florida they’re reneging on the law they passed that allowed felons to vote claiming they have to pay fees first. In Michigan there’s 80,000 pending evictions, how would some receive a mail in ballot with an address? They fukking wouldn’t. 45 won Michigan by less than 10,000 votes in '16. It’s being stolen right before our eyes. And if he still loses there’s been a new wall put up around the White House and there are federal agents being dispersed into large cities, such as Seattle, and Chicago. Like what does that communicate, when 45 has declined to say he’ll accept the results of the election if he loses Not to mention Russian, Chinese, and other influences in social media sowing discord, and breaching digital portion of the voting process as confirmed by U.S. intelligence.

Country signed its death certificate in '16, it's just decomposing now.

I need to finish school and leave, but my gut tells me it's get bad enough I have to leave early

Really?
You must not have mailed anything in the past 20 years. The USPS has been taking L's for at least that long.
The added competition from other entities that rely on profit via speed of delivery (and lack of union) has only exacerbated their demise.

What's your source? because this is misleading since it doesn't reflect USPS' on-time pension payments, which caused a surplus that then allow the congress to funnel the extra money to ensure the healthcare benefits of their retirees, thus the 2006 law

Bruh, it’s been so fukkin difficult shipping online orders. Like, all the package material from usps which is free with a business account has taken almost two months to arrive. I gotta go on another jack mission and swipe envelopes from hella locations because of this shyt.

I very seriously have a pure and visceral hatred for the GOP. Everything from this to their disregard for the environment to how they treat politics and governing like some sport to see who scores the most points for Team White People. They’re literally an existential threat to our lives and should be hunted down like dogs and executed.
TLR doesnt have that hostile energy towards the GOP. They think that the GOP is good for blacks :unimpressed:

People Even downplay the pandemic on here, saying that a pandemic happens often. :smh:

At this rate, people better go ahead and stay on the lines, and risk their health to get Trump outta here.

Postal-Service Workers Are Shouldering the Burden for Amazon

But there’s no reason for the Post Office to be struggling. It sustains itself through postal revenue (receiving no taxpayer money), and was profitable through the early 2000s, even as e-mail became ubiquitous and the number of letters decreased.

But in 2006, a Republican-led Congress passed the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act (PAEA), a bill that set the USPS’s pricing scheme for the next decade. Included almost as a footnote in this legislation was an ambitious requirement: The USPS would prepay decades of employee health-care benefits over only 10 years, at a rate of about $5 billion a year.

Some politicians voiced concerns at the time about the size of the payments, but USPS revenues were higher than ever, and the bill passed with bipartisan support. The USPS ponied up for the first few years, but then the Great Recession hit and mail volume from large companies dropped off. The annual $5 billion obligation became too much, and the USPS stopped paying.

The result has been what Steve Hutkins, an NYU professor who runs the blog Save the Post Office, called a “manufactured crisis” that has fueled conservative arguments that the USPS should be privatized. Republicans like Issa have used the inability to pay as an excuse to make “the argument they’ve wanted to make all along,” which is that government can’t get anything right and that the Postal Service should therefore be hobbled or privatized.

“No other company or government agency has funding obligations like that,” said Hutkins, “and beyond that, the Postal Service is essentially profitable.”
