US man washed out to sea

In the Bay Area in the pacific..it's 2 beaches separated by a canal that leads to a lagoon..the canal is about 250 ft wide..so I started off in the ocean to swim across because the current drags you down the canal into the lagoon..thats why i needed enough leave way so I went a lil into the ocean..it took me about 5 mins to swim across to the other beach..then I swam back..it took a lil longer and also the current dragged me further down the canal..anyway I told my uncle who's from that area and he told me that great whites go into that canal to eat the seals in the lagoon..I'm never swimming that again..but the 2 beaches are bolinas and Stinson..



Bolinas beach is cool..they got a Buddhist monastery you can live at and eat as long as you help them farm..if I was homeless I'd stay there..

Pacific water stay cold ...even in the hottest months. It was weird because you always hear about the west being warm.

Those currents in the Pacific tend to be cold while the Atlantic is warm.

Depends what beach you're at..Stinson, Santa Cruz, Bolinas aren't that cold..half moon bay is freezing..but yeah the Pacific is pretty cold..you gotta go to the Pacific Islands if you want warm water..

I did too, I learned about that shyt in Oceanography class its just the coastline tho. It made sense cuz when I went to Newport beach it was freezing compared to when I swam in the Atlantic at Ocean City beach.

I'm in Hawaii often, water is warm, California water is COLD, and so is the beach at night, cold and breezy. I remember the first time I went I was expecting some Baywatch type action...shyt was desolate at hell.
