Yup..some beaches you don't swim at..only those crazy surfers do..that's why I don't fukk with half moon bay and ocean beach cuz of their rip tides..I can tell by the pic in OPs thread that that water is a no go..

All jokes aside this remind me of when I was 12 and almost drowned at Newport Beach cuz some shyt was suckin me away from shore I put my hands in the dirt and hoped for the best. Since then it's been fukk the Pacific and fukk beaches in general.

Another time, but I got hit with another wave that spit me out onto shore. I got hurt that time, bruised my collar bone getting thrown around like a rag-doll.
But the time I'm talking about was after, I learned to stay calm, be like fish, learn to let the current take you where it's gonna, once it's calm THEN swim to shore.
The most important thing is to take a deep breath when you can, because you don't know when you're gonna get another opportunity.

Yeah the beaches I swim at don't really have these things..the most dangerous element are great whites..but attacks happen so rarely that nobody trips..I've swam in great white feeding territory drunk and nobody told me till my uncle told me later that night on the phone..
