US Major Cities with the worst downtown skylines

How often do you actually see the mountain when in the city though?

It's not just one...they pretty much surround the city...and there's water everywhere. The main one, Mt Hood, you can see nearly everywhere and it's snow-capped all year.

Who cares about skylines when all of these cities have water/mountains in view.

Portland is one of the most beautiful cities I've been to b/c of the scenery

Portland is lovely to see, in certain parts. Once it fills out in terms of city architecture (if ever) it will be one of the GOATs. I personally cannot handle places that don't have that urban vibe, as good as their nature side may be.
