”Between 1/3 and 1/2 of all farmworkers in America reside in California, or roughly 500,000 - 800,000 farmworkers. Approximately 75% of California's farmworkers are undocumented; 83% in Santa Cruz County.”

“California's agricultural sector is the most important in the United States,”

He appears to be a Democrat, but a lot of farmers aren’t and lie about their farm workers.

I’ve driven up the 5 and 99 Freeways more than once and have seen the pro Trump signs on farms.

We all know what’s gonna happen here. Trump gonna make a show of rounding up illegals in some areas that don’t matter while he completely ignores the illegals his financial backers use for their businesses.

It’s all just a show, and unfortunately Trump knows how TV works.
Keep telling people the immigration "problem" is a made up issue. No way to deport all of them and not also ruin the economy

Which means they won't, they just gonna talk and make a show of it like you said

Somehow we were able to have affordable produce in this country prior to 2003.

Breh its like that here too theres no way you could charge ppl the prices for fruits and vegetables right now if you were paying workers a living wage.
Everytime i drive down near Welland/Niagara you can see mexicans/hispanic farm workers hanging outside the local FreshCo waiting for taxis to pick them up and drop them back off at the farm...

Probably will bring back a form of convict leasing/labor mandates while they are being detained in deportation camps. I don’t put anything past this upcoming administration

Yea, these mega farmers will very likely get their wish, get a permanent underclass designed to walk on eggshells while their offspring get to go to substandard schools, child labor laws gone, sex ed diminished and the system rolls on.
