So now the government is saying it may be unlikely to recover the debris due to inclement weather. Furthermore, none of the multi-million dollar planes have cameras that could have taken a picture of the "unidentified" objects before shooting them? I'm calling cap as the young brehs say so often nowadays

Honestly these were shot down over rough terrain. IMO, it sounds like they were expecting these to be more Chinese spy balloons but got a little more than they bargained for. Not saying they're extraterrestrial but they may be something with a lot more mystery behind them.
Looking at some of the responses from senators after their briefing I get the picture they weren't completely in the know either as to what these 3 other objects were or their origins.
Now that our sensors are detecting more UAP, new protocols will have to be put in place on how to deal with them.
I personally think there is all kinds of shyt flying up there ranging from US black budget tech, tech from foreign adversaries, tech from private corporations, and yes tech from a non-human intelligence(s). And I don't think those in the know who're within the US government will ever be forthcoming about what's actually out there. And it may be for good reason.
