Hey brehs one thing I'm wondering is how the hell did they actually have access to the embassy in the first place? US embassies are usually damn near bunkers with a whole lot of security, I can't imagine it wans't the case in Lybia, I mean it isn't Luxemburg either there...how come no security was killed? I haven't read the details of the whole story but it seems that something went seriously wrong...was the ambassador out of the embassy went this madness happened?

i want to add...the best way to transition away from rigid dictatorships is to neutralize the upper echelon of the regime, and keep the structure in tact, and slowly transition to democratic or more inclusive rule
now in some countries that cant happen because the ruling regime is going out guns blazing, ie syria
