He's currently the host of a game show and he's been doing voices on cartoons and animated shyt for at least 2 decades. He's been in love actions roles and one offs on TV and in movies since forever.
Anything as big as urkelmania? Of course not. Let's not pretend he's one of those washed up maga z list celebrities that starred on one show in the 90s or 80s and is like "Hollywood is full of pedophiles! I can't get a job because they hate people that are Christians and love America!"
Are people really checking for a Family Matters revamp like that in 2024? Not to mention that a lot of the cast have talked about the backstage stuff and behind the scenes ad nauseam over the years to the point that there's really nothing else to talk about.Also.
He recently did an interview talking about with shows trynna bring back older shows for nostalgia like a Full House, Frasier, etc or do it in a new vision like Bel Air.
People been approaching him and some of his other cast about trynna revamp the show but he’s been declining and instead pitches they should do a show about the backstage stuff and story behind the show because he feels that’s more interesting and compelling.
But Hollywood rejected that idea so he decided to write his book

Yes, everyone is on a 90s kick right now. Like how back in the 90s everyone was on that nostalgic 70s kick. I don't see how the concept would work in 2024 and I highly doubt that people would care for a Stefan/Laura centric show considering Urkel is what jumped off popularity in the first place.Yes, everyone is on a 90s kick right now. You aren't the producer. I thought nobody wanted to see Fuller House but it lasted multiple seasons.I don't see how the concept would work in 2024
Laura ended up with Steve, not Stefan. In fact, Stefan just disappears and is never mentioned again without Laura telling him she picked Steve over him. Show had a terrible ending and I wouldn't watch a sequel without Myra anyway.I don't see how the concept would work in 2024 and I highly doubt that people would care for a Stefan/Laura centric show considering Urkel is what jumped off popularity in the first place.
AyooooooUrkle tried to cut me at the bar at a NBA All Star Game w/ Mary J on stage ... I looked down and gave that nikka the sickest mug
He was like "Oh my bad brother .. "and dapped me up .
Cool dude
Full House wasn't dependent on a character like Steve Urkel to make it work. There's a difference between the two.You aren't the producer. I thought nobody wanted to see Fuller House but it lasted multiple seasons.
Def didn’t didn’t think that shyt would work but they did a great job with Fuller House. They don’t have to bring back the whole family matters fast, I mean they somehow made Fuller House work without Michelle which is crazy. Just base it around Urkel and Laura, maybe throw Maxine in there maaaaaybe Eddie and his fam and give us a couple wise cracking kids.. have cast members come through on different shows. it could work maybe. A 40 plus year old Steve Urkel would be crazy thoughYou aren't the producer. I thought nobody wanted to see Fuller House but it lasted multiple seasons.
Fuller House got DJ, Kimmy Gibbler, and a not bad looking Stephanie Tanner who I think made the show work. Like I hadn’t seen Stephanie pretty much at all since Full House.. I had no idea she looked like she did lol. People actually do ask for a FM rehash especially after the cast cane together for whatever magazine they did that interview with. I don’t know if it’ll work but maybe it could work. If they find a kid who can give us young Urkel vibes who knowsFull House wasn't dependent on a character like Steve Urkel to make it work. It's been said more than once over the years that his character saved the show from being cancelled.
He's also made it clear that he has no interest in playing that particular character again, so you'd have to pivot in a different direction.
