Yeah that's...usually how it works breh. People have their own individual horror stories about a celebrity/boss/executive/leader, etc. but assume the person is too powerful and they won't be believed. They may have even wanted to or tried but were told it was useless because the predator in question had a good public persona or enough money to bury the story. Then a few or a group of people with good lawyers come out all at once with stories that are eerily similar so they finally feel confident enough to tell the world.
