I don't care if it's somebody I like or don't like, I'm not a fan of this snowball effect that happens with controversial news like this.
Now everybody just got a story ready to tell about how Lizzo mistreated them.
Yeah that's...usually how it works breh. People have their own individual horror stories about a celebrity/boss/executive/leader, etc. but assume the person is too powerful and they won't be believed. They may have even wanted to or
tried but were told it was useless because the predator in question had a good public persona or enough money to bury the story. Then a few or a group of people with good lawyers come out all at once with stories that are eerily similar so they finally feel confident enough to tell the world.
Why do you think the victims of the Catholic Church waited 30, 40, 50 years to speak up fr?
These people BEEN had a story about Lizzo's shytty and predatory behavior, that's why they're coming out so fast or "snowballing". It's just that three weeks, six months or two years ago they probably thought they were the only ones. Just look at Ellen DeGeneres. That shyt was DECADES in the making but everyone kept quiet until the dam broke.
If you work in the entertainment industry being a whistleblower or a "tattletale" will do nothing but get you blackballed and shunned which is career suicide.
