Sting comes out to that audience..those male fans are gonna chant nonstop and go fukking nuts. Even the illusion that he was gonna come out in Feb 2011 had that California crowd going nuts. We all read the LIVE reports and how disappointed they were when Taker/HHH came out last year.

Not sure where this wack internet perception that he's not some real star and is gonna get no sold like Grandmaster Sexy or some weird shyt along those lines comes from but the reality is much different. Sting is one of the most loved faces ever. The westcoast and the Carolinas are always gonna treat him like a god.

flabbynsting should be good for a 2 minute dark match against heath. Before they send a REAL legend down to the ring. Rikishi or someone

Yeah I think that ship sailed last year.

They could still do it if they were 100% committed to a serious, slow build of the silent Crow character haunting Taker every week from January until Mania. That's the kind of character development they'd need for Sting to make him intriguing now. Nothing less.

Getting him over with today's WWE audience wouldn't happen overnight, so a surprise appearance at Mania is out of the question and way too risky. Sure, we all remember him, but the kids watching today don't know him and even the older casual fans would need a huge buildup as a re-introduction.

Probably too much to ask considering they have so many other major Wrestlemania matches to build toward.

Funny thing is...I'm watching these 2012 stars, Ziggler and Sheamus, and what do I see? The Crowd BOOING HARD the prospect of a Sheamus/Cena match and booing just as loudly for Cena being the proposed MITB winner.

Sting may be in his early 50s but he doesn't have those kind of stupid problems and I GUARANTEE a poll of Taker vs Sting would get more votes on what people want to see at Mania over Lesnar/Brock or anything they got planned for CM Punk or Cena.

Get Sting over? LOL. Sting would get worship chants from smarks. Who do you guys think this is?

Dudes in here fail to realize this. That Crow stuff won't even get over because none of these kids know who the Crow is and dudes in here expecting them to know of a dude that was popular 13 YEARS AGO.

It's 2012 and Sting isn't very good. The solution to wack shyt going on in WWE right now isn't to bring in a flabby, balding, artifact so that a bunch of flabby, balding fans can mark out that he's not Jack Swagger.
