Good bye Coli(2014-2020)
  1. Do a Fantastic Four movie first because they are much easier to incorporate into the universe. The film will be apart of the phase after Avengers Infinity Wars. The F4 are the ones who purchase the old Avengers towers. They are tasked with exploring space for potential threats but something happens via radiation and they get their powers. Basically similar to comics. I would NOT introduce Dr. Doom yet but have him appear at the end of credits as a teaser. The villains in this one would be the Frightful Four. Not big like Dr. Doom but BIG ENOUGH to get good action scenes and make an interesting movie. Hell, you can say the Frightful Four work under Doom. Movie appearances would be Hank Pym since they always work together. Reed Richards will be smart just like in the comics but not boring like in the Fox movies. But the movie has got to be action packed and good sci-fi.
  2. The next Fantastic Four film the F4 are already established in the MCU hero community. Everyone around the world knows them. I'll have Mole Man as a minor villain in the beginning. Then I would later introduce Super-Skrull(the Skrulls who have a connection to Captain Marvel iirc and Marvel is planning Secret Invasion iirc), the F4 stop a fleet of Skrull invasion before they can even reach Earth. You can say the Skrulls and Doom were working together.
  3. Finally I would say there is a F4 and Avengers team up where they fight Doom in his own country.

I'm in the minority, but I have no interest in the x-men in the marvel universe. It's just gonna confuse things and there's been like 10 movies featuring those characters. Take a break.

Fantastic four on the other hand would be interesting:whoo:

I’m with you on that one. I’m kinda sick of the X-Men. There are so many other stories they can tell that don’t involve them.

F4 is perfect though since MCU is really getting into that cosmic area.

Alright, I'll throw my hat in the ring. The F4 pitch posted earlier by @Norrin Radd is basically perfect, I can't touch that.
As for the mutants in the MCU, there's two ways they could do it.

1.) Mutants are a relatively recent and very new phenomenon. Over the course of the last several phases of Marvel movies, Prof. X has been travelling the world researching a rare phenomenon otherwise known as mutants. Magneto, on the other hand, is being held captive in a top-secret SHIELD facility, having been arrested for terrorist acts. Mutants are still a tightly guarded government secret, and they are exceedingly rare (maybe 100-200 mutants on the entire planet tops). Professor X invents Cerebro and uses it to recruit Scott, Jean, Hank, Bobby, and Warren (the original 5), who are all teenagers that are first beginning to realize they are mutants. While Prof. X trains the original group, Magneto breaks out and the X-men end up having to stop him from launching a nuke. In the post-credits stinger, Wolverine escapes from the weapon X facility. The sequel could take place several years later and adapt Giant Sized X-men 1.

The other ideas I was thinking of...

2.) Make all the X-men stuff in the MCU an 80s or 90s period piece. Evans, Hemsworth, and RDJ are getting ready to bounce anyhow, so they could shift the focus of the MCU into a new era, which would be set entirely in the late 80s and early 90s. This would work since most fans are cool with the X-men operating by themsleves, so the Avengers, Spider-man, etc. couldn't appear in those movies.

3.) Have Thanos (with the infinity gems), Doctor Strange (using magic), or the Scarlet Witch (by speaking mutants into existence) alter reality so that mutants have always existed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

4.) Start with adapting Giant Sized X-men #1 and simply say that mutants are exceedingly rare (maybe 100-200 in the entire world tops), so most people don't know what they are yet. Prof. X and Cyclops recruit Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Colossus to infiltrate a Sentinel manufacturing facility to rescue their captured friends (Jean Grey and the rest of the original X-men). Save Magneto for the sequel (who again, will be a secret government prisoner courtesy of SHIELD).

5.) Instead of movies, make any one of these ideas into a Netflix series, so that way there won't be any excuse to shy away from the darker content and the racism that X-men was always all about.

I somewhat agree. I ironically haven't even seen any of the Fox X-Men movies. But regardless, they're ingrained in your mind. They're going to need to give X-Men a break before integrating them into the MCU. Phase 5 or 6 or something.

honestly, the xmen being back at marvel and resetting things would make things less of a damn mess. too many conflicting timelines and wierd teams in time periods

I think they should definitely set up the characters in a post-credit sequence or two.

One of the biggest questions is who they should put on a team if an X-men film happens in the MCU. Having more than 8 or 9 characters (including Prof. X) would be overkill, but everyone is someone's favorite. I'd like to see the Claremont/Byrne group, but a lot of people want the Jim Lee/90s cartoon X-men. Some old-school fans want the original 5 in a movie, while others want to see the New X-men/Astonishing lineup.

I would say that Professor X and Cyclops are the non-negotiables, and that Wolverine and Storm are must-haves unless they decide to start with the OG X-men as teenagers. Jean Grey could go either way--I'd like to see her on the main team personally, but I could see them explaining that she already died prior to the events of the main storyline of the movies.
I would personally have Beast join the Avengers like he did in the comics (he was an Avenger for years in the 70s and 80s), but he's also a likely candidate to be on the main X-team.

The rest of the characters could similarly go either way (although I would REALLY like to see Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler. Their absence is the primary reason I don't consider the Blue/Gold era the GOAT lineup in the comics). Which roster should they roll with? :lupe:

They shouldnt touch xmen its a fukking mess, they should do Xcalibur (with nightcrawler colossus, psylock and deadpool) and Alpha Flight (with havok and wolvie) . FF4 can work in the MCU, but lets be reality this is about getting the IP for the FF4 rogues

X-Men (aside from a handful) don't even eff with the Avengers like that in the comics, so why not keep them on their own, with only references, a la SHIELD, Netflix, Runaways etc...The problem with the X-Men is that, no matter what, there have always been mutants, so you can't have them appear like this is some new thing. They can keep their entire movie history. But, they can do XvI or War of Kings with X-Men, Guardians, Inhumans (no need to recast them...might as well incorporate them into the movies) & Shi'ar

As for the FF, I'd go with the lost in space angle, but have their origin happen years ago. Basically, it would be like 10 years (start of the MCU), since they acquired their powers and have been lost in space since. Finding their way home could be a result of everything that happened with Thanos in space.
