I don't get Your stance on this issue. You Who support Players and not Teams due to racist owners ( I remember You speaking on this long before this incident) And this has helped Me to respect Your view even More).
Well since we now know he never uttered such words, let's pretend for a sec he did.
I don't know about You but I am so sick of People not taking a stand when Our people are wronged. Lebron is the most visible athlete, And He has been the most vocal..
Let's get this straight,
THIS ISN'T ABOUT NOT TAKING A STAND.
What has he exactly done, besides do some corny shyt of throwing his warmup jersey in the middle of the floor before a game? If if wasn't made clear to you throughout this whole thing, the NBA
BANNED Sterling for life, not a suspension, not a slap on the wrist, but banned him for as long as his poor excuse for a human life exists. What point is there in boycotting the league - why punish the league when they're on the same side as Bron?
This isn't like the NBA has temporarily suspended him, and there's a drawback. Then yes, this stand that he'd be taking would be worth praise (if he actually followed through with it).
Furthermore, what is the probability that Sterling will be the owner come the arrival of next season? Virtually 0%. The thread-equivalent risk would be:
"Ban me from posting, if the Miami Heat don't score over 20 points in any quarter, in their next game"
Most of these players are lost out here. The Civil rights era died when they started killing and jailing all of the leaders. I hope Sterling is still the Owner next Year (I doubt he will be though) . Just so we can see if He really about that life.
Most of the posters in this thread are lost.
