if you asked the 1o years ago you who would you say will in the future be their cash cow
I wouldn't have said batman, I would have said Superman, it's crazy how that didn't become the case
Once Nolan got a hold of Batman and took him to heights not even Spider-Man in his prime could reach it was a wrap on who the cash cow was going to be

The sequel to Superman Retuns getting canned cements that

I thought Batman been took the crown at Dc after the Dark Knight Returns comics in the 80's, and the batman movies that followed

I'm against Batman being in it too...not because there's magic, but just because he's overexposed in general and takes focus away from other characters that need it more. Anytime Batman is around he automatically becomes the main character and everybody else looks like an idiot in comparison.

when is season 3?

October. :wow:

I'm over Batman, Joker, Harley and alot of the Bat-universe. Too much overexposure and milking. .

It's the same thing as Marvel putting Iron Man in everything now.:manny:

Marvel is definitely not perfect by any means, but at least they are pushing and taking chances with their other and lesser tier characters regardless if they might sell or not. Hell, even Nighthawk managed to get a solo.

Nah, Batman fell off in pop culture after Forever and Batman and Robin came out. The Nolan trilogy especially The Dark Knight put him back on the map and made him and the Joker relevant in pop culture again.

I mean even then it wasn't like people were checking for superman at the time. What about the batman animated series. I don't remember anything superman related in the 90's or 2000's except his animated series (which wasn't as good as batman's) and Lois n Clark:mjlol:.
:manny: I guess smallvile if that even counts

Were they even trying to make Superman movies or did I just miss it.

Superman Returns
Yea and that was an huge fail. But that's not the point. I would say that movie proved nobody was really checking for Superman or at least on the level of Batman.
Its funny because this guys just dropped a video today touching on some of this.

batman has been more relevent in an organic matter than supes since the tim burton movie.
batman is how dc got any relevency.
as dc ruined superman beyond repair and had to salvage batman and then redamaged batman beyound repair almost till the dark knight.

if not for dark knight dc was done.

Zatana's father trained Batman so he knows her since she is a kid and he is a teen.
He works with Etrigan, Deadman, and Constantine at different times as well.
And I think I saw Swamp Thing in there... which makes sense cause his swamp is right outside of gotham. Swamp Thing and Poison Ivy share the same archnemises a plant dude named the Fluronic Man.

But putting Batman in everything is making him into John Cena. You start to want to see somebody beat his ass for being in your face 24/7
