I remember when I couldn't watch WWE because we couldn't afford sky sports so TNA on bravo was the only wrestling me and my wee brother could watch.

Luxury

I remember trying to set the VCR to record WCW worldwide on ITV at 2am on a Sunday morning back in 91. When everyone else at school is talking about WWF

Getting up in the morning only to find you've recorded

Isn't there a possibility he didn't actually buy the nwa since wwe can use the trademark at anytime.
At this point there are a couple of NWA trademarks. WWE has the old JCP and then Turner owned brand. Which is everything up to 1988. Then everything post 88' gets funky. Corgan owns a part of that mess, so you're right. It's hard to know exactly what he does have at this point.

No I'm talking about the deal they made in 98. It was something in it saying they can use the nwa name whenever they want I will see if I can find the video.

I dont watch wrestling anymore(havent for like 7 years). I don't know if Im just imagining this but was there ever a small stretch in the 00s where TNA was equal or better than WWE? I can recall there was a very short period at school where no one was watching WWE.

In the late 2000s it was better than WWE. Honestly it's because the brand split made most of the lower matches unbearable to watch while TNA had a full roster and only 2 hours to work with.

Thought so, I can faintly remember there was a couple of month where no one even spoke about WWE and everyone cared about the weirdly shaped ring and Aj Styles,Samoa Joe and Chris Daniels(or something like that)
