Makes no sense at all. Conley is 35 years old and still under contract for next year. Why wouldn't you keep Russell's expiring contract and trade him? An expiring contract like that has value. Now from a basketball standpoint I like the trade. I think Conley is a better fit than Russell at the pg spot. Better passer and facilitator. If he was a few years younger even like 30 I would be all in. In the end, Lakers should be real happy about this deal. They won this. Vando can switch out on pick and rolls and guard multiple positions. Beasley can either start or come off the bench.. You got rid of Westbrook and you saved money by not trading for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner.

DLo wasn’t signing with us and Conley is a much better fit. I dunno how the pendulum has swung so far on DLo based on him having a hot month, but the dudes bball IQ is not conductive to winning basketball. He’s a fukkin moron. Not to mention Conley knows how to play with Rudy and help get the best out of him.

I mean this is attempting to salvage the roster after the stupid ass Rudy trade a bit. And KAT hasn’t played with a real PG since Rubio and Ant never fukking has. I know it’s lolwolves and 99% of the time it’s warranted, but the only way this team has a chance of salvaging the season is getting a real leader at PG who plays like a PG

I hate everything about every trade this team has been involved in the last few years though. I wish I could quit being a Wolves fan. I truly do.
