Dumb trade for Minny

Makes no sense at all. Conley is 35 years old and still under contract for next year. Why wouldn't you keep Russell's expiring contract and trade him? An expiring contract like that has value. Now from a basketball standpoint I like the trade. I think Conley is a better fit than Russell at the pg spot. Better passer and facilitator. If he was a few years younger even like 30 I would be all in. In the end, Lakers should be real happy about this deal. They won this. Vando can switch out on pick and rolls and guard multiple positions. Beasley can either start or come off the bench.. You got rid of Westbrook and you saved money by not trading for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner.

I like this trade for all three teams Minnesota get that veteran PG who gonna run the offense and get looks for Ant, Rudy and KAT while being the voice in the locker room. Lakers get DLO who shotting 39% from 3 on 7 attempts a game. Malik Beasley a sharpshooter who’s hitting 36% from 3 on 8 attempts and versatile defensive big in Jarred Vanderbilt who can guard 3 through 5 and be a pick and roll lob threat. The Jazz and Danny Ainge sell high on assets while they continue their rebuild.
Lakers and Timberwolves make themselves more competitive in an open wide west.
