I have insurance on the phone, but it looks like im going to have to have a specialist look at it. My wife is devastated because we have memorable pictures of friends and family that we can't get back, and she doesn't trust the cloud. I guess its just a lesson learned. Damn i wish there was another way. I've literally exhausted all resources
If you can't get back into that account that is tied to the phone that data is lost. You need a government level encryption hack to maybe break that. At the time it's questionable if the government can do it because they cry to Apple about it all the time.

Your best bet is to regain access to the account.

I got fingerprint access on my Note 9 and Note 10 plus...I'll always have access. And all my pictures took by my camera go to 400gb and 512gb sd cards.

What you're talking about sounds preposterous.

No its a security feature. The Apple activation lock persist after you reformat the phone. The first thing the phone does is check the servers and if it's tied to an Apple ID locks itself down. That's why it's mostly worthless to steal an iPhone.

I know from experience, youre fukked, and you also might get put into activation lock after you erase it if you dont know the Apple ID password.

You can talk to a data recovery specialist and they can get some pictures off of it not all.

P. S. Don't call Apple they cannot help you. Ask me how I know

If somebody steals your phone all they gotta do is yank the SD and they have your data. If somebody steals an iPhone and they don't have the credentials to validate themselves as you then they have a worthless brick. It's your own fault if you lose access to your own account.

After 10 unsuccessful attempts, you have to hook up to itunes..now the problem is, when i plug the phone up, my mac recognizes the phone, but itunes doesn't. Then i turned off the phone, put in recovery mode..synced back to computer, then the comp said "your mac is downloading necessary software to restore phone"..30 minutes later..no download, no "time remaining on dowload" no nothing. Its like my computer said fukk me too.

Only way you can steal my phone is to reach in my pocket and take it...and I have it on good authority that no one is that courageous in the sissified Skinny Jean era.

As for sd cards and them getting what's my mine..."ENCRYPT SD CARD"
