Like another member said he does it every Sunday. He has enough pull in this city to get some work done even in the midst of a storm. Faith is supposed to be the basics of "Christianity". He doesn't have enough faith for the Most High to help him in his efforts to assist the community?

This is another reason folks don't respect "Christianity", people pick and choose what parts they want to apply to their lives. Preachers included.

No but his church is flooded EVERY Sunday with people from all over Houston and surrounding areas just to hear him give motivational speeches that are NOT from the bible.

He needs to give back to the same city that helped to put him there in the first place.

If the Church was flooded, or it was unsafe to allow people to be there at the time then that's understandable, but after announcing the doors would be closed and unable to shelter those in need, the statement changed to something like "Once all the other shelters fill up we'll allow people to come to the church for shelter" after all of the social media backlash.
That goes against his previous implication that the church was inaccessible due to flooding.

From what I gathered in this thread is that no one was for Osteen, but just pointing out the fact that trying to open a facility as large as his is without using WISDOM and taking PRECAUTION is premature at best to criticize the man.

Most brehs in here that truly follow the BOOK see him for the phony that he is.
