She’s a musician whose ex boyfriend, who was a politician in Mexico, ordered an acid attack on her after she broke up with him. That’s why most pics of her feature her wearing a mask. She’s become an activist for women since then.

So she’s not some random woman or scorned girlfriend, and is a reputable person. Should also be noted that he’s been getting attacked in Spanish media for months for accusing Mexican culture of racism and colorism.

Ah....so while he probably did what she said, this story is gonna get legs because he called out the white Mexicans. If he didn't do that or if he looked like Canelo...this goes under the rug?

That's what I think. She claims Disney swept this under the rug which suggests to me that US outlets were never gonna touch so she lit the match in Mexican media. It's similar to the Majors accusation in the sense of Disney ALLEGEDLY working behind the scenes to silence abuse stories. In that case it was alleged harassment on set during Ant Man.

We'll see where this goes, same as Majors but both sound like credible accusations to me.
