Dude I don't know if you are trolling or not. McNabb before he hurt his knee was a top 5 QB. Why would you not invest money in him. Some of you dudes don't know the object with most these owners is to be competitive and make money. When McNabb became the starter of the eagles the team was worth around 400 mill. After his career was over the team had a new stadium and was worth over a billion dollars. You think not signing him to a 100 mill contract wasn't a good investment.

Damn some of you fans slow as heck. Last if you believe that there is no need to invest as a team if you aren't gonna win a championship that means every year the NFL should contract 10 to 15 teams cause they have no shot at winning and the NBA should contract about 20 teams. That way we should only have 10 teams in the NBA and about 15 teams in the NFL.

Another thing how you gonna get on McNabb for not winning a ring when hasselbeck didn't win shyt himself and was carried to the Superbowl by a great and dominant RB.

He honestly deserves it and the 100 million range is pretty typical for a franchise quarterback. I'm really looking forward to what he does with Benjamin and Funchess on the outside.

Panthers were in a tough spot. Cam's popularity is way bigger than his production...not a big NFL town and he's a big star. I dont think he's ever going to be the guy though.

Doesn't matter, in today's NFL market you aren't even paying for the franchise QB anymore, you're paying not to lose him.

If the Panthers don't want to shell out big bucks according to Cam's play, then some other team definitely will, and fact is, Cam is far better than the other journeyman QBs out there.

It ain't an option anymore, Newton, Luck, Wilson, and Winston and Mariota later will all be getting paid big time.
