You mean that game that they still lost at home? :pachaha: And now people are jumping on the Clausen bandwagon? I didn't even know he had one. Nor does he deserve one. :scust:

I'm not saying Clausen is a great QB, only that he's more accurate than Newton in the short field.

Panthers were in a tough spot. Cam's popularity is way bigger than his production...not a big NFL town and he's a big star. I dont think he's ever going to be the guy though.

Yeah and AJ Feely was more accurate on short passes then McNabb. Does that mean he would have taken the eagles to 5 NFC championship and 1 Superbowl like McNabb.

No, but what was the point of investing money in McNabb, knowing that he wasn't accurate enough to actually win a Superbowl? Clausen is overall more accurate than Newton and in time can become a good cerebral pocket passer like Matt Hasselbeck. Matt won a Superbowl.

Yea we did for a QB who has had more team & individual success on the field. Matt Ryan >>> Scam. Scam is a better athlete and better at stealing laptops/cheating on tests doe :pachaha:
You know, after five seasons I expect more creative disses from you, but you're still rehashing the same ones from Draft Day 2011.
I'm disappointed in you, sir.

Despite his rookie year and subsequent slander, Clausen is more accurate than Newton right now. Clausen was impressive against the Lions (?) last year in that one game he played for the Bears. He was on time and accurate in the short game -- consistently more so than Newton, who I fear will never be accurate enough from the pocket. For all the fanfare against him, Clausen's career really shouldn't be over yet.

There's a 50/50 chance first round QBs work out, and those are good odds. If you pick 2 QBs in the first round in back-to-back years, odds are you find a good QB among the two. So If I'm a GM and the owner guarantees me any job security, I consider trading Newton for at least 2 first round picks. Newton must improve.
