If a child is living in your house, eating your food, wearing clothes you bought, using your electricity and water and gas, being instilled with your morals and values then you are their father, period. It's silly that a person can automatically be designated a full fledged parent on the strength of a nut but a person that actually raises a child can be dismissed as a "step". People in general don't respect all that goes into being a parent...the time, the money, the energy. It's more than you could imagine as a non-parent. Anyone that takes all that on and does their thing warrants respect. It takes a special type of person to do so with someone that isn't biologically related. Biggest issue in our society period is people being so damn selfish and not giving a fukk about the next generation.

nikkas will insult and cry about a lack of black fatherhood and representation but then go insult men who try to be a positive role model in black children's life.

You got bums like this who crack jokes and push being a fukking deadbeat so he can have fun instead of raising a child like a fukking man while insulting dudes who actually realize how important it is for a child to have a father figure.

Yep on all of that. Some of these step dads end up raising famous kids like vince carter, shaq and etc. There are so many step dads that have helped raised exceptional people.

Also many of us would not be here if it wasn't for step dads or step parent. If you just look at the history of black folks in america.

When an wife would lose her husband during slavery.....husband being sold or killed or died. A brother would step in and marry that woman and raise the kids.

What about all those women who husbands died and then a man married her and raised the kids as his own. There are countless stories of this and I bet everyone one who is commenting here has a story in their family of a man stepping in and raising kids that weren't his.

Every story of a step parent ain't about some dude saving a women with 5 kids by 5 different dudes who is on section 8. I know the coli likes to roll with ignorance but jokers be talking like 12 year olds on here.

Same with step moms. My grandmother till this day talks about how her mother died when she was 5 leaving her dad to raise 4 kids. Her father ended up marrying a lady who helped him raise 4 kids that were not hers. My grandmother's father and her step mother stayed together until he died 40 years later after they married.

So who knows how life would not have turned out for my grandmother without her step parent being there. Maybe her father is not able to raise all the kids by himself and the family breaks up. Which happened a lot back in those dads when a spouse died. Maybe if that happened I am not here today.

Amen on all of that and well said.

You gotta respect these dudes though. A lot of people would have been without fathers in the home if it weren't for men stepping up to be stepfathers.

A child has no say on who their biological parents are.

Yeah you right I just couldn't do it ...so I'm not a real man?

Stepfathers and positive male role models are definitely needed in our community. nikkas get clowned for trying to raise another man's child but then nikkas are :scust: at all the drugged out zombies and half fags out there that will be unfit to lead the community forward in the next decade or so.

Because the answer is so irritatingly simple that it's not worth talking about anymore.

Procreate WITH the guys who are "step-father" material in the first place......stop having babies with the drugged out zombies and then trying to find a "step-father".....i swear our community is so dumb and stupid about some things :scust: The "step-father" deserves to have his own family and have peace and quiet and a cohesive family unit. Not some mess he has to clean up. I'm gone. I told myself this would be a positive week. No negative thoughts :whew:

CALI
future was clearly a thug and he chose to make up for HER mistake by marrying her.
future was a rich rapper.

:stopitslime:

I don't understand this narrative that future was some nikka selling dope when he knocked up ciera, like he hasn't been on the radio for years.

He boosted her career. wrote her a hit song .
