The japs killed her
They found a corpse on an island somewhere that kinda maybe matches her description roughly, but who knows. We can't tell.
New evidence suggests Amelia Earhart died as a castaway on a desert island - ExtremeTech

No one brought up "Toxic Woman"

I remember reading about that :damn:
This is a possible explanation though:

Livermore Labs postulated that Ramirez had been using dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), a solvent used as a powerful degreaser, as a home remedy for pain. Users of this substance report that it has a garlic-like taste.[5] Sold in gel form at hardware stores, it could also explain the greasy appearance of Ramirez's body.[5][6] The Livermore scientists theorized that the DMSO in Ramirez's system might have built up owing to urinary blockage caused by her kidney failure.[6] Oxygen administered by the paramedics would have combined with the DMSO to form dimethyl sulfone (DMSO2). DMSO2 is known to crystallize at room temperature, and crystals were observed in some of Ramirez's drawn blood.[5] Electric shocks administered during emergency defibrillation could have then converted the DMSO2 into dimethyl sulfate (DMSO4), a powerful poisonous gas, exposure to which could have caused the reported symptoms of the emergency room staff.[7] The Livermore scientists postulated on The New Detectives that the change in temperature of the blood drawn, from the 98.6 F of Ramirez' body to the 64 degrees Fahrenheit of the emergency room, may have contributed to its conversion from DMSO2 into DMSO4.

Elise Lam case, the murder of the Black woman who worked for some government ran company, she told her family and friends that ppl were following her around, knocking on her door late at night and when she would go to answer they would be gone. One day she was leaving work and she just vanished (this case still haunts me to this day) ppl say since she was working for the gov she knew things, also the case about the 4 school girls who were murdered at camp in the 80s.
You ever hear of Black Eyed kids? They do shyt like this.

Nah. Elaborate.
So we don't know what they are could be spirits, demons other EDB's or Aliens. We do know, that they come to deserted places or homes late at night. When they knock don't let them in or bad shyt happens. Sometimes they play pranks like this.
