Chicago Tylenol murders - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Chicago Tylenol murders were a series of poisoning deaths resulting from drug tampering in the Chicago metropolitan area in 1982. The victims had all taken Tylenol-branded acetaminophen capsules that had been laced with potassium cyanide.[1] A total of seven people died in the original poisonings, with several more deaths in subsequent copycat crimes.

The incidents led to reforms in the packaging of over-the-counter substances and to federal anti-tampering laws. The actions of Johnson & Johnson to reduce deaths and warn the public of poisonings risks has been widely praised as an exemplary response to such a crisis.[2]

No suspect was ever charged or convicted of the poisonings. New York City resident James William Lewis was considered the prime suspect, and was convicted of extortion for sending a letter to Johnson & Johnson that took credit for the deaths and demanded $1 million to stop them.

I just saw the JonBenet Ramsey special. :ohhh:

I feel bad because all those years I bought into the idea that the parents did it but so much evidence proves that an intruder was involved.

Also this is further proof how the police have no problems with destroying the image of innocent white people too. :mjpls:

Even tried to blame the 9 year old brother for killing her with a toy railroad track. :why:

I watched the CBS special not only did they shut down the intruder theory they made it overwhelming seem like Burke Ramsey was culprit.
:what: CBS actually put out some garbage like that? I'm glad that I didn't watch their special. The A&E special was extremely thorough and debunked a lot of crazy theories and accusations that were being thrown around. I would highly recommend that people check out that one.
