Y’all foreigners are so mad :mjlol:

In here talking about “fOotBaLl iSnT pLayEd wOrlDwiDe”. You’re right, it’s not.. because not many places in the world are birthing the types of superior genetic specimens required to play football. Most of the world is frail and skinny, and those who DO have the size lack the athleticism/coordination it takes to play football.. hence why the whole world clings to soccer bits because ANYBODY can play it :lafff:
The most popular sport in the world is popular because most of the world is frail and skinny? Do you know how stupid that sounds?

What's the reason for boxing being so lucrative then?

It's not a dumb point, Indoor 5v5 soccer is harder and requires actual skill and actual in game IQ.

You cannot play unless you have elite control and manipulation of the ball.

5% of soccer players who play in the field can play indoors because they actually have elite foot control, can actually play in tight spaces comfortably, can actually dribble and have high in game IQ and the ability to think ahead and make fast decisions. The average field soccer player cannot do that. If they could they would all have elite control of the ball in tight spaces on the actual field. Instead when on the field they need to hit the ball into a space and then use their speed and athleticism to catch up to the ball. Meanwhile the actual players who can dribble will just weave directly through players.

No the indoor players lack the conditioning and athleticism to play on the field. Talent and skill wise they are superior to 95% of the field players. That's why the soccer players who are able to combine the two are undisputedly the best in the sport and dominate their peers.
This is bullshyt because I've played indoor soccer a lot. It isn't more skillful, it's faster pace because you're only playing in a small box. You don't even need to have great ball control because you don't have to worry about strong defense, since everyone is on the offense. You don't have to worry about off sides, out of bounds, etc because the ball bounces on the wall. This leads to more people taking shots and more aggression not more skill. No worrying of lob passes, no worrying of headers, etc.

In essence, you're arguing that the fundamental way of playing is inherently wrong because it isn't a smaller, shorter, sport which is wrong Premise.

The crazy thing is, indoor is used at practice and you're pretty much saying most aren't good at practice.

But as hard as dribbling a basketball is. Its way easier to be competent at that, then it is running while maintaing control of a soccer ball with your feet
I don't knew why anyone is arguing against this point. A human being has more control over their own hands than their feet.

Americans just mad that their sports aren't as popular as football (
Americans don't care if other people like football. Other people with their little insecurity about wack ass soccer have to mention football to even cobble together their little reaching argument. Most of the time people can't even tell you what's so exciting about soccer, they just pull the "you must be american" card like that means something.

Saying soccer is the most popular sport world wide is like saying rice is the most popular food worldwide. It's just cheap and accessible to 3rd world people.

And yet futbol is the most popular sport in all the richest countries on earth. So your argument is bad.

it's popular worldwide because it's the rice of sports. it's cheap, simple, and accessible to 3rd world people. And again, nobody can come up with any real arguments outside of "you must be american".

It's not popular BECAUSE it's cheap.
It's popular AND HAPPENS TO BE cheap.

At least in terms of barrier to entry.

As with anything, once you get into competition and development, it's as expensive as any other sport on earth.

Really stupid argument because with that logic you can make the same case for basketball

Death To Spookism
"five-a-side" is not futsal.

The fact you read my posts and got "five-a-side" tells me don't even know what you're talking about or even understand the discussion.

Irrelevant, they both serve the same purpose, helping players develop their skills, positioning, first touch, decision making, knowing how to move as a unit etc. :mjlol:

I've got my FIFA Rulebook and FA rulebook,, FIFA's rulebook contains rules for Futsal, which I often referee, see where flexing gets you

Throw up your coaching badges if you have them, I'm going for my license in the new year so would like tp pick your brain considering you're an expert.

Please share with me your footballing philosophy:pachaha:
