Americans just mad that their sports aren't as popular as football (not called soccer). Rename your football to something else.

There is no such thing as a basketball world cup because its lack of popularity in the world.

Cricket is more popular than any American sport.

Are you saying it takes more skill and talent to do that than to play football/basketball/baseball? :rudy:

Do you understand any soccer player that transitioned to another sports where you need footwork always dominates ?

Hakeem Olajuwon has the GOAT footwork for a big man in NBA history. He played soccer all his life and became pro caliber in 4 year of playing. He switched cuz he couldn’t excel in soccer. Lmao.

Also please tell your boy Dana White Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar were champions in the UFC. Lmao.

What a dumb thread

In soccer its 100% about skill, not how tall or huge you are. That's what makes it great and the whole world can play, not just dudes who are 7 foot tall or weight 500 pounds.
Saying NFL requires skill on the level of soccer is like saying Sumo wrestling isnt just 2 fat guys bumping and grinding :dame:

Why you think no one beyond America watches the NFL..
No real skill :skip:

And no sumos aren’t just two fat guys bumping into each other. Just like NFL lineman you gotta know how leverage works, have flawless technique and how to bend your opponent to your will even though they are the same size as you. I’ve been to sumo matches and them big Nikkas were getting tossed off 5 foot tall rings and having to get up with no emotion as their knee is dislocated like :unimpressed:

You're absolutely correct.

The average soccer players foot skill is complete garbage.

Soccer has a 5v5 variation/cousin sport like basketball which is even played on an NBA sized court.

The average soccer player cannot even play this variation because they are played in smaller sized courts with the games being faster than the ones played on the fields, this means if you cannot immediately and properly control the ball at high speed in tight spaces, immediately decision make (high in game iq), precisely pass and you cannot play.

This is actual skill and talent.

That's why I laugh when you have poster in this thread say "soccer players need to be elite" if they were and this was true then EVERY soccer player would have perfect control and manipulation of the ball like in the variation I mentioned. Instead outside of 5% of players in soccer where they play on a field you do not see that.

So if the average player cannot perfectly control the ball, cannot perfectly dribble, cannot pass outside of basic passes which are done at a slower speed but can still play how they hell do you need be "skilled" or "talented"? how is this "elite" :unimpressed:
Exactly. Deandre Yedlin and Haji Wright are millionaires overseas. Neither can trap a ball or link a pass if their life depended on it. So much duck tales from foreigners in this thread it’s hilarious.

That’s why I started my son in futsal. Gonna make sure his dribbling and trapping skills are on point. :wow:

Five-a-side matches are used in all clubs across the world during training sessions to develop the very things you mentioned. This is common throughout the early years of a players development and helps transfer the skills over to eleven-a-side matches :dead:

No real skill is required to play American sports with the exception of basketball..they identify guys simply by their physical appearance even before touching a ball :mjlol:

because they have weak genes

oline men are criminally underatted more athletic than 99% of these cac soccer players

"five-a-side" is not futsal.

The fact you read my posts and got "five-a-side" tells me don't even know what you're talking about or even understand the discussion.

Y’all foreigners are so mad :mjlol:

In here talking about “fOotBaLl iSnT pLayEd wOrlDwiDe”. You’re right, it’s not.. because not many places in the world are birthing the types of superior genetic specimens required to play football. Most of the world is frail and skinny, and those who DO have the size lack the athleticism/coordination it takes to play football.. hence why the whole world clings to soccer bits because ANYBODY can play it :lafff:

Are yall confusing athletic ability with "talent"/skill:patrice:?

Im still saying basketball takes the most skill, based off shooting ability. But as hard as dribbling a basketball is. Its way easier to be competent at that, then it is running while maintaing control of a soccer ball with your feet. Maybe someone who excelled at both cwn tell me if im lying.

I never got to a kyrie type level of handling,so maybe that is harder.

Edit-And to be clear soccer is trash and not better than real football:whoa:
