Italians got noodles from the Asians. Mexicans got the rotisserie meat (Al Pastor) from the Lebanese, while we got burgers from Germany, Vietnamese got the influence from the French and make a great sandwich (Bahn Mi), Koreans got fried chicken from us, and so on. I get your point, but cultures have been remixing since the beginning of time.

Waffle fries are a scam, especially when you do the math

A french fry is a perfectly defined cylinder of potato. Waffle fries are these wide cut, ambiguously shaped monstrosities

Waffles fries take up so much space that they fool nikkas into thinking they have a comparable portion to regular fries but count your waffle fries next time I promise you'll be You get like 3 of them bytches and a sea of burnt scraggly potato crumbs at the bottom

They also don't taste half as good as regular french fries let's be serious
