I agree its not working out for him.

I'm of the opinion that he is dumb and should take the 3K a month NIL they said they offered.

His new agent is looking funny in the light and wasn't even the one negotiating originally because you have to be registered as an agent in the state of Nevada to have UNLV deal with you.He is not .. His agent is actually under investigation now.

This is messy on this kids and his family's part and ain't gonna work out the way he thinks.

Jayden Maiava (UNLV QB last season) went to USC and his NIL value is 215k. Last year they went 9-5 and made a bowl game. Did anyone honestly believe they were gonna go undefeated and be a real threat to make the CFP? Like is beating Kansas THAT impressive?

And Sluka in all honestly isn’t even half as good as him. Dude is hitting on 43% of his passes.

100k just doesn’t make sense and it sounds like somebody exaggerated the number. The unregistered agent is probably the least reliable one here

UNLV can't cut deals with agents or pay players outright in the first place so your whole premise about the agent and the player doesn't even make sense... He can get that "3k relocation money" elsewhere

The reality is the party that this is really "not working out for" is the team that just lost their starting QB

Wherever he goes next would like to have their shop in order if they want him to step on that field for the whole season

So if they can't deal with agents why is a Fugazi one speaking for him?

But anyone who thinks this kid was smart by squandering an opportunity to have a great CFB season, one in which would probably be a breakout for him and lead to other chances and opportunities than I guess we gotta agree to disagree.


Even if he does get the 100k ( which I don't think he will and his agent who just started coming around apparently is failing him )

But he probably will NEVER get the momentum as a starting QB he had to build on.

Schools work with the boosters (usually called a collective). Coaches are making offers on behalf of their NIL collective.

I think this is the crux of why I'm disagreeing with so many of you on here.

I don't fully believe this kid, his father, or the agent.

It's one of the RARE times I'm sideing the university/institution

I think his fam saw the early success of the team and his numbers, went and got this agent and came to the team talking about a 100k figure that probably was never SERIOUSLY/OFFICIALLY offered.
