On one hand, one man killing a CEO will not bring about change at all... but on the other hand if someone tries to kill a CEO, I think most of the country itself wouldn't buy into the notion that the person was crazy or a terrorist, but someone with legit beef (even if the person themselves doesn't).

Ironically, the one thing that common folk on the left and right can actually agree on... is that there is no need to show empathy for CEOS who make millions of dollars while laying off folks just so they can hit KPIs and their bonuses... along with indirectly or directly killing customers or employees because of their decisions.

Exactly my point. Theres no fight in the the general public of this country. Theyve been neturalized. Seeing all these people romanticizing him, hearteyes and all for his looks vs the underlying message of his actions regarding healthcare even as extreme as it was is proof. I honestly dont get the thirstness. shyt is weak. Too many weak and dumb people in america for there to be a revolution. All controlled by social media, smart phones and all the bullshyt.. its a wrap.

But the problem is that those same people show very little to no interest in the political process, which is where you rein in this bullshyt. People cheering and creating memes but will still elect people (or not vote) that will not reverse, or even promote, the bullshyt insurance companies get away with.

People are going to cheer, pump their fists and hope for more killings but what is going to happen is people will slowly stop paying attention. They will stop paying attention, go on worrying about something not important while hoping they or people they know do not get sick because they will be screwed.

For the life of me I can’t understand why everyone is on this crackers nuts. Rich white boy who went out and killed for no good reason. It’s basically a senseless murder. His motive was, I’m white and entitled and I read some books, so now I think it’s a good idea to go kill a random C.E.O. All these fukking think pieces like this goofy is some revolutionary or done started some new era that’s gonna change everything is retarded. Let this had been a nikka with braids named Dante.

The whole saga is fascinating to me, but this is essentially where I am too. Why would I look up to someone like that? Social media has fried people.

He's obviously fit mentally to stand trial, but was going through some issues. He's not much different than the PizzaGate guy, he just had higher socioeconomic status and a "real" target.

I don't have any disrespect for Ocasio Cortez either, but when she says something like "People feel like being denied claims is violence done to them"
That sums up a lot of the last 10 years of culture, where feelings have become everything and essentially an argument for anything. Being denied a claim is not the fukking same as executing someone's Dad.

People "feel" like being denied care is violence because it is. What the fukk don't you understand. If I see you on the side of the street bleeding badly yet alive but unable to help yourself and I decide to walk away then I have committed an act of violence against you by not giving you care you need to live. Health insurance companies do this thousands of times a day but it's even worse because they are being paid extraordinary amounts of money to leave you bleeding out.

It's pretty fukking simple, go get some class consciousness.

This is a great example, but let me add a few details. Before I can walk on a street, there's a law that says I have to choose a company to pay a percentage of my check to every month to in order ensure that if I'm injured while walking that the company I pay will cover my expenses so I can get the medical care I need. Then one day I'm walking on the street, and trip or worse, get hit, and the company I've been paying for years says there are exceptions and then proceeds to act like they don't even know me. So not only am I'm at risk of having the bone not set properly or bleeding out on the sidewalk, but I still need to pay out of pocket to get some help. Brian Thompson served in a leadership role for a company that had a business model for how to create scenarios where they could profit off of people they intended to leave bleeding out on the street. And we're not supposed celebrate his death? fukk that guy.
